Recruitment Process

Recruitment Timeline

Application Process

Interview Stage

MBC recruits new members at the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters. Our team is actively present at campus-wide events such as Meet the B-Orgs and Mega Fair, where prospective applicants can learn more about our organization, meet current members, and gain insight into the work we do. These events mark the start of our recruitment cycle and offer an opportunity for interested students to ask questions and determine whether MBC is the right fit for them.

Following Meet the B-Orgs, the formal application period opens. Applicants will be asked to submit a current resume and respond to a set of short-answer questions designed to help us understand their experiences, interests, and motivations for joining MBC. This written application allows us to get a fuller picture of each candidate before moving to the interview stage.

MBC conducts a single-round interview for all applicants who advance past the initial review. During this interview, candidates can expect questions focused on their background, teamwork and personality, as well as a brief case study that reflects the type of work we do as a consulting organization. This process allows us to assess communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall fit with our team. Our goal is to create a welcoming, conversational environment that highlights each candidate’s potential.

Member Testimonials

Why is MBC valuable to current members?

Boston Meeker

“Over my four years with MBC, I’ve grown tremendously—developing skills in professional speaking, networking, and leadership. MBC opened the door to incredible opportunities, including connecting with industry leaders who have helped shape my career path. What I value most is the culture: everyone comes prepared, motivated, and driven. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals with big goals has been inspiring, and I’m proud to call many of them lifelong friends."

Cole LaCamera

"I joined MBC while working a consulting internship because I wanted to sharpen my skills and become a stronger consultant. The hands-on case study practice gave me a deeper understanding of the full engagement process, something I hadn't experienced in my internship alone. MBC has been invaluable in bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world consulting."
